- Personal Assistance Services (As defined in Virginia’s DD Waiver Manual)
We offer support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:

- Dressing and grooming

- Medication administration (per DMAS guidelines and within provider scope)
- Monitoring basic health indicators (e.g., vital signs, reminders)

- Skill Building and Training (Aligned with the Individual Support Plan – ISP)

- Training for independent travel and safe community navigation

We support individuals by implementing behavior plans and strategies, such as:
- Applying Positive Behavior Support Plans (developed by licensed professionals)
- Monitoring and reporting behavioral data to behavior teams
- Using de-escalation strategies when trained and appropriate
- Reinforcing positive behavioral and social interactions
- Socialization and Community Engagement (As authorized in the ISP)
We encourage socialparticipation and community involvement through:
- Communication development, including AAC (augmentative communication) device support
- Community integration for:
- Recreational and leisure activities
- Religious, cultural, and civic events
- Volunteer opportunities
- Supporting relationships and peer interaction in natural settings
- Assisting with educational or job-related participation, if included in the ISP
- Health Maintenance Activities (In accordance with DMAS guidance)
We help maintain health and wellness through:
- Scheduling and following up on healthcare appointments
- Accompanying individuals to doctor or therapy visits (when specified in the ISP)
- Assisting with the use and care of durable medical equipment (DME) and assistive technology
- Family/Caregiver Training and Support
We support caregivers by providing:
- Training on implementing strategies from the ISP
- Respite care services (if separately authorized in the ISP)
- Ongoing updates about client progress and needs
- Resources to support caregiver wellness and planning
- Service Coordination Activities
We ensure seamless care through:
- Collaboration with Support Coordinators (Case Managers) and care teams
- Active involvement in ISP development, reviews, and assessments
- Timely and accurate documentation of:
